An experimental layer was created, solely for the
"Annuities" topic, and the pop-up code whipped up
in a burst of DHTML fury. The results proved gratifying.
Another bite to eat.
Blinded by the passion for commission, the remaining
layers were hammered out, one for each topic, and the results
uploaded with pride and joy to the client. Wisely, the client
tried applying the pop-ups to other pages on the
site. One of the pages, related to automobiles,
contained a
form field
select
box from which the user could select
a particular car model. That's when the world came crashing down.
The searing pain you see illustrated above is the form field
overlapping the pop-up menu. How could this happen?
