Third party filter fever getting you down? Learn how to
use the built-in effects of Paint Shop Pro to find a cure!
|
Paint Shop Pro 7 comes with a whole slew of effects, but many of us,
yours truly included, get caught up in a fever to download as many
third party filters as we can conceivably find. Let's take a step
back for a second and see what Jasc has provided for us, and
just what we can do with it.
There are 97 effects found on the menu bar under
Effects, (bet you didn't know there were that many effects
in there, did you. I know I was impressed when I counted them).
I won't begin to cover all of the effects, but instead will
look at just a couple, and what you can
do with them when you add a little creativity to the mix.
One of the most interesting effects IMHO, is the Light effect.
Yes, it can be used to highlight, spotlight, and look like a
three ring circus, but did you know it can restore under-exposed
photos?
My second favorite effect is the Feedback. Alone, it can make
an interesting graphic, or it can make a mess. But what can it
do when you make a selection? Read on to find out!
